This one also not very honest. I heard that the last time when she was chairwoman, she had her two family cars washed free by the car-washer contracted by the MCST to wash residents car for a fee. She also got a company ran by a relative to do our landscaping at a high cost.

Ummh. Last yr she went a around collecting proxy votes, claiming to represent the council. Then used those votes to approve her pet project of constructing ramps for the approaches to Blk 90 lift lobbies at level B1.

That is why we end up having to pay more maintenance fee, because councilors spend money on their own personal favorite projects.

Anyway, I join in the forum for more important matter, that of councilor joining the council with ulterior motive. The SP at our second level is a councilor. He is known as the karang guni man of Hillbrooks. The stuffs he collect are left in the lift lobby outside his unit and sometimes even the stairway. They are an eyesore and a fire hazard. For years we residents have complained to the Management Office but no effect. Because he is a councilor, he is given leeway.

Interesting story Iheard fr the past guards. They used the level1 changing room shower every morning. Once, the wife quarrelled with a female guard over the use of the shower. As a result of council decision, guards cannot use the shower now. Good to be a councilor, right?
Got to go. Bye.

Taking time off from lunch to have a little banter. This discussion is getting very interesting. I also heard from the past guards that last year, when her husband's car damaged the guardhouse door while driving out, she instructed the Condo Manager to make a claim from the MCST insurance. Got to be careful with councilor like that.

Yes, we have to be careful who we vote in as councilors. It sounds very nice that they are doing a voluntary job. There are gains to be made. They know it. In the past histories of condominiums, there were cases when office bearers disappeared with large sum of the MCST funds.

Even the Managing Agent cannot be trusted. They are doing it for the money only They don't care about the place. There was a widely reported case of a condo in West Coast when the Condo Manager almost emptied the MCST account to fill up his own account.

What happened is this. Every morning, the karang guni man and his wife distributes our TODAY newspaper. Then they use the changing room showers for a good clean-up. The guards also use the showers at that time. One day, in the female changing room, the wife had a quarrel over the use of a shower cubicle with a female guard. This was brought to the attention of the council. In the end, the guards cannot use the shower while the karang guni couple can. Is that karang guni man abusing his authority as a councilor?

Those ramps are a luxury. There is already a big ramp to serve both lift lobbies. Moreover, precious car park lots have to be removed for the ramps construction. It is a waste of money and common space.

What have the council under her chairmanship achieved? A lot of dumb things, it seems.
Changing the color of a gate from a visible yellow to a less visible light green.
Using a desktop pc with a mobile broadband service.
Causing inconvenience to residents and their visitors who have to use the back-gate.
Wasting money on unnecessary construcntion.
Proposing expensive projects.
Increasing our maintenance fee.
Causing the MCST to be sued.

These type of people are really cheap. They can afford to live in a condo but can't afford to pay for their own water for a good bath.

Last year she collected a lot of proxy votes. I gave her mine because she claimed she was representing the whole council. Don't give her your proxy vote this year. Or her appetite will grow bigger.

What!? Its her husband who shud pay the MCST for damage. This type of people will want to benefit all her relatives at the expense of the MCST.

The space taken up by each approach is so big that her whole family can through in one line. Those spaces should be better used for handicap parking lots.

The Notice on the Notice Board warn us not to visit this forum, that it is defamatory. What fame do they have? Who do they think they are? Even Ministers get criticized and condemned on daily basis.

I hope this forum is not just to canvass for votes for the AGM. I hope it will stll be around after the AGM. This will make the management of the estate more open.
